U-PICK
A great way to experience the farm, have a good time, meet some interesting people, and come away with fruit to freeze or just share with the neighbors is to come to pick fruit at the farm. We have two different U-Pick locations offering three different types of seasonal fruit. Please see below for specific dates or call 831-469-8804. Containers to put your goodies in are provided for you if you need them. It’s often a bit windy along the coast so bring appropriate clothing. We have many attractive areas for relaxing after gathering your fill of berries or kiwis, so bring a picnic and spend the day with us at one of our ranches. Click here for map and driving directions.
Strawberry U-Pick is finished for the season, but you can now buy our wonderful jams at
the Swanton Berry Farmstand or on-line by visiting our Jams and More page.
Large U-pick Groups
School groups and other large groups should make special arrangements ahead of time so that we can be ready for you. Everyone else can just come on by whenever they like.
Farm Tours
All farm tours are by reservation. We enjoy sharing our work with visitors. Every year,
we host groups from around the world. Please make arrangements for farm tours by
calling 831-469-8804. There is a small fee for the tour.

Our certified organic Kiwi U-Pick is in full swing
at our Swanton/Coastways Ranch location. Picking
hours are 10am to 5pm on Saturday and Sunday only, Kiwis's cost $1.50 per pound. Please call
our message line (831-469-8804) on the day you plan to pick for updated supply and weather information; occasionally we close due to rainy weather. In addition to Kiwis we also offer an
array of our small batch jams made from fruit
grown on location.
Note: The Kiwi U-Pick is located at the
North field at Coastways Ranch which is about
1/8th of a mile South of the Ano Nuevo State Park.

Organic Pumpkin U-Pick 2009
The organic pumpkin U-pick continues on into December at the Swanton Farm Stand location. Come cut your own pumpkin from the vine for
your Christmas pumpkin pie, or enjoy Laura's
farm made Pumpkin Pie... the best known in the universe. Pumpkins are .60 cents per pound and the field is open from 8am to 6pm daily.
Organic Strawberry U-Pick 2009
2009 organic Strawberry U-pick season is over for the year. We hope you had a chance
to come enjoy our fields this summer. Our organic strawberry jam is still available at the farm stand or can be purchased on line by visiting our Jams and More page. Please call

Organic Olallieberry U-Pick 2009
Olallieberry U-Pick is finished for the 2009 season. Due to the cool and overcast Spring, Olallieberries were not as plentiful as they have been in years past. We are in the process of planting more Olallieberries in hopes that we can do a better job of meeting the enthusiastic demand in the future.

Blackberry U-Pick 2009
Blackberry U-Pick is finished for the 2009 season. Similar to the Olallieberries, the fruit set was very light this year. We appreciate your support and hope to offer a full crop next year.
